Nevertheless, the rise of patisseries in the past few months has given us the chance to try out many different sweet delicacies. These exceptional establishments succeed with fantastic sweet-tasting selections, from avant-garde dishes developed by culinary specialists to treats inspired by childhood favorites.

From new places to some people’s favorites, here are a few dessert places you need to try for your sweet tooth craving.

Chicory European Patisserie

This pastry café comes highly recommended and will transport you to France with a selection of decor that exudes a vintage vibe. Walking inside this café, you will notice the extensive range of French pastries.

Starting from a humble little bake and ice cream shop in Dharmawangsa, Cold Moo recently just opened its second branch in PIK. Nick and Ali Gunawan established Cold Moo from their love of sweet goods that they missed back when they were in the US. Cold Moo serves some ice cream mixed with selections of brownies or cereals and a range of cookies.

Exquise Patisserie

This patisserie is not a new player in the industry. Founded in 2014, Exquise Patisserie is a cake shop known for its floral nuances. Pastry Chef Chef Devi Octavia who’s in charge, has more than ten years of experience in international five-star hotels in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Their menu selections range from classic pastries such as Kouign Amann, and Pan au Chocolate, while they also have choices of cakes and cookies. You can also indulge in high-quality afternoon tea with their afternoon tea package consisting of 12 pastries available for two people or the 18 pastries package for four people.

La Patisserie, Four Seasons

Italian Executive Pastry Chef Lorenzo Sollecito is in charge and brings childhood memories of European sweet treats to La Patisserie. Go around the patisserie slowly and take in everything it offers, from traditional cakes and seasonal sweets to the broad selection of bonbons that would make beautiful gifts for friends, family, and yourself. Chef Lorenzo also offers creative twists on traditional Indonesian sweets like Lapis Legit, Bolu Tape, Pisang Ijo, Klepon, and many more. 

RR Chocolate

A unique and luxurious Bean-to-Chocolate Experience Store, RR Chocolate offers high qualities chocolate treats using local cacao beans. You can treat your loved ones to an unforgettable and luxurious chocolate delight. The chocolatiers at RR Chocolate work to create world-class quality chocolate and serves various types of chocolate, ranging from soft-serve ice cream, cakes, and chocolate bars.

Scarlett’s Cafe

Famously known for their Fatcaroons and poured Tiramisu, Scarlett’s Cafe was first established in Pantai Indah Kapuk. With its distinctive aesthetic and selections of sweet treats that are not just delectable but also appealing to the eyes, it has since begun to attract attention. 

Recently opened its second establishment in Senopati, Scarlett’s Cafe now provides cocktails and a selection of savory dishes. For their sweet choices, you can find a lot of eye-appealing desserts, from their cakes, pies, and many more. 

UNION

One of the most successful Indonesian-made establishments that have elevated cafe culture and Indonesian fusion cuisine throughout the entire city is the well-liked UNION Cafe.

Under the direction of Head Pastry Chef Karen Carlotta, her creations include a variety of freshly baked bread and pastries in addition to a constantly changing assortment of cakes, pies, and tarts.
