Tentrem Jakarta has launched Sense of Taste, a new collection of spirit-free cocktails across Kayu Manis, Canella, and POPULICO Restaurant, highlighting Indonesian ingredients through contemporary mixology.
Based in Tangerang, Indonesia, the luxury hotel’s latest beverage program focuses on taste as a central part of the guest experience, presenting alcohol-free cocktails that draw from Indonesia’s culinary heritage while incorporating modern techniques and presentation.
At Kayu Manis Restaurant, the collection takes inspiration from the Indonesian archipelago, with creations including Ketan Ireng, Navata, Sagara, Bongkot Asri 2.0, and Pandawa Brana. The drinks use local ingredients, spices, and familiar flavors reinterpreted through contemporary mixology.
Canella takes a different direction, combining Italian influences with Indonesian elements across drinks such as Rubino Rosso, Stella Ala Canella 2.0, Caffè Formaggio, and Luna Rosa. The collection is designed around refined flavors and a spirit-free format.
At POPULICO Restaurant, the lineup reflects the restaurant’s more energetic character through Theatre of Coffee, Kembang Setaman, Space & Oolong, Fun Spitzer, and Flower Lemonade, with playful combinations and contemporary presentations.
The launch comes as spirit-free drinks become increasingly visible across hospitality, particularly among diners looking for more mindful or inclusive drinking options. Tentrem Jakarta positions the collection around the idea that a crafted drink does not need alcohol to be considered sophisticated, instead emphasizing ingredients, technique, creativity, and the overall drinking experience.
The hotel describes the program as part of its broader philosophy of engaging the five senses through hospitality, with the Sense of Taste collection specifically connecting contemporary beverage-making with Indonesian culinary and cultural references.
