ORIJIN Japanese Dining, located within Sari Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection, has introduced a new rhythm to the midday meal. The restaurant now offers Hirudoki, a set menu shaped by the Japanese idea of balance and seasonality. The word itself translates to “lunchtime”, and the approach is clear: a complete meal prepared with care, presented in a way that feels both simple and refined.

Each set is built around a main dish, supported by smaller courses that round out the experience. Guests can choose from four different menus, each reflecting a distinct character. One highlights Nabeyaki Udon, a comforting noodle soup with chicken, egg, and vegetables, paired with tempura and assorted sushi. Another focuses on Sutamina Chicken Don, rice topped with sautéed chicken and garlic, accompanied by lightly torched salmon sashimi and deep‑fried tofu in bonito sauce. A third menu centers on Robatayaki Saba Shioyaki, grilled mackerel seasoned with salt and lime, served alongside tempura rice and a delicate steamed egg custard. The fourth option presents Beef Hamburg, a pan‑fried patty with vegetables, complemented by tuna sashimi and chilled tofu.

Across all menus, the sets are rounded out with salad and fresh fruit, while miso soup and rice appear in selected options. The arrangement is designed to remove the need for long decisions at the table, offering instead a thoughtful sequence of flavors that fit neatly into the lunch hour.

Available on weekdays, Hirudoki reflects Chef Ito’s approach to Japanese dining: seasonal ingredients, traditional preparation, and a sense of completeness in every set. It is meant for the midday pause, whether shared with colleagues, clients, or enjoyed quietly on one’s own.
