The store echoes the familiar vernacular of the house of the Dani Tribe from Papua. The architectural characteristics of the Rumah Honai’s simple yet inspiring form – circular layout, conical roof, vertical cladding, and single entrance – have been turned into domestic qualities. At the center of the space is the bar – with its carving pattern inspired by the barista craft – introducing the Starbucks Experience and welcoming the customers. There’s also nearly 4 meters long community table where customers can have a gathering also circular seats by the bar where they can enjoy their favorite beverages. The store also completed by an outdoor area where customer can enjoy the city view. A stunning artwork depicts the coffee journey that tells the stories of coffee farming community, barista craft, and the customer connection. The bold and colorful style of the artwork is inspired by the traditional Batik motifs and patterns from Papua – celebrates the local heritage and community and creates an uplifting experience.

This store which has a long bench attached to the wall on the first floor gives a spacious and comfortable impression to welcome customers.
