For the first time in almost ten years, Hendrick’s Gin has added a permanent expression to its line. Named Another Hendrick’s, it introduces a pairing of orange blossom and cacao, a combination that feels both familiar and unexpected.
The project began with Master Distiller Lesley Gracie, whose greenhouse has long been a place of experimentation. Driven by her love of chocolate and flowers, she set out to see how cacao could be brought into gin—a challenge few distillers attempt. The difficulty lay in finding balance: cacao’s velvety richness needed to sit alongside lighter notes without overwhelming them. After years of trials, she arrived at a profile where smooth cacao and bright citrus could coexist.
The result builds on the foundation Hendrick’s is known for—rose and cucumber—while adding new layers. The gin opens with a clear, floral character before moving into a rounded, silky finish. It is not a replacement for the original, but an extension of it, reflecting the dual nature that has always defined Hendrick’s: classic yet curious, composed yet open to surprise.
As Southeast Asia Brand Ambassador Alexis Sang explains, “while retaining the lovely round character and balance that is the signature of Hendrick’s Gin, Another Hendrick’s – our new permanent expression – offers a peculiar and unprecedented taste experience. The aromatic marriage of cacao beans and orange blossom, crafted by Lesley Gracie, our master distiller, opens a world of possibilities. Deliciously rich and smooth, I like to enjoy Another Hendrick’s with tonic, in our famous Another Hendrick’s Spritz.”
