Luxury Group by Marriott International has announced the return of its Luxury Dining Series for a third edition, bringing a collection of chef collaborations, culinary experiences, and beverage-led events to luxury properties across Asia-Pacific from August to October 2026.
Held under the theme “Across the Table,” this year’s programme explores the role of dining as a shared experience, highlighting how food and drink can foster connection between guests, chefs, destinations, and local cultures. The series will take place across six destinations, including JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa, The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto, and Luminara, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
According to Oriol Montal, Regional Vice President of Luxury at Marriott International Asia Pacific excluding China, this year’s edition places greater emphasis on the emotional aspect of dining and the stories that emerge when meals are shared.
The programme is structured around several recurring concepts, including Chefs [At The] Table, where chefs dine alongside guests while sharing personal stories; The Grand Banquet, a large-scale communal dining experience celebrating local culture and traditions; Heirloom AM/PM, which explores heritage ingredients and techniques; Spirited Social, featuring cocktail-focused events and bar takeovers; and Journey to Exceptional Taste, a series of masterclasses and immersive culinary excursions.
Six Destinations, One Shared Theme
The series begins in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, where culinary events will spotlight Vietnamese home cooking, local seafood, French-Vietnamese collaborations, champagne tastings, cocktail experiences, and cacao-focused masterclasses. Acclaimed chefs including Olivier Elzer, Summer Le, Nguyen Hai Hung, Cuong Nguyen, and Madam Anh Tuyet will lead a programme designed to showcase the island’s culinary identity through both contemporary and traditional perspectives.
The journey continues in Phuket, Thailand, where guests can expect a mix of omakase experiences, multi-chef dinners, cocktail programmes, craft spirit pairings, and hands-on workshops. Participating chefs include Agustin Balbi, Arnaud Sauthier, Duangporn “Bo” Songvisava, Joseph Talbot, and Sylvain Constans, while beverage experiences will feature collaborations with Bangkok bar Bar Us and industry figures including Adi Sukasta and Fransiska Siregar.
At The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, the programme will bring together chefs specialising in Cantonese, Japanese, Mediterranean, Indian, and pan-Asian cuisines, complemented by wine tastings, cocktail pairings, omakase experiences, and resort-wide dining journeys designed to showcase the property’s culinary offerings.
Indonesia’s edition will take place at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Bali, where the focus turns to Indonesian culinary heritage. Highlights include collaborations between chefs Ketut Sartika, Agung Ardiawan, Wira Hardiyansyah, Syrco Bakker, Bayu Timur, Eka Sunarya, and Lee Daejin, alongside foraging experiences, fermentation-focused dinners, and cocktail programming overlooking the Ayung River.
In Kyoto, The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto will present a programme centred on Japanese culinary traditions, featuring kaiseki, omakase, sushi, tempura, teppanyaki, Italian cuisine, afternoon tea, and cocktail experiences. Participating chefs include Katsuhito Inoue, Shuichi Yamashita, Tomohiro Goda, Takuji Fujisawa, Ryuta Iizuka, and Angelo Agliano, highlighting both Japanese and international influences through a series of collaborative dining events.
The series will conclude aboard Luminara, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s newest vessel, where guests sailing on a Japan itinerary can participate in chef-led dining experiences, seasonal cocktail programmes, and pastry-focused masterclasses curated by leading culinary talents from across Japan.
Celebrating Connection Through Food
Now in its third year, the Luxury Dining Series continues Marriott International’s effort to position culinary travel as a gateway to deeper cultural discovery. By bringing together internationally recognised chefs, local producers, beverage experts, and hospitality professionals, the programme aims to create experiences that extend beyond dining itself and encourage meaningful engagement with each destination.
Exclusive stay packages will be available at participating hotels, while selected experiences can also be accessed through Marriott Bonvoy Moments using loyalty points.
