VINYL Music Cocktail Bar in Bandung will host the seventeenth edition of its Bar Takeover series on Saturday, October 31, 2026, featuring CK Kho of Coley Kuala Lumpur and Tracia Chan of Dissolved Solids. The event will bring together two Kuala Lumpur beverage concepts, each with a distinct approach to cocktails and other drinks.
Ranked No. 83 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, Coley Kuala Lumpur is known for its signature “Koktel” menu, which reinterprets classic cocktail traditions using Malaysian flavors and local ingredients. Its drinks draw on familiar tastes while applying contemporary techniques, creating cocktails that reflect the country’s culinary identity.
Meanwhile, Dissolved Solids, recognized among Tatler’s 20 Best Bars 2026, explores a wider range of beverages beyond conventional cocktails. Its offerings include creative cocktails and mocktails, as well as brewed teas and coffees. The concept focuses on flavor, extraction and technique to explore different ways of preparing and experiencing drinks.
During the takeover, Kho and Chan will bring their respective approaches to VINYL, giving guests the opportunity to try drinks shaped by their individual perspectives and techniques. The event will bring together Coley’s Malaysian-inspired cocktails and Dissolved Solids’ broader exploration of beverages for one evening in Bandung.
Through its Bar Takeover series, VINYL continues to introduce Bandung’s cocktail community to bars and beverage concepts from across the region. The seventeenth edition highlights two different approaches from Kuala Lumpur, bringing together local flavors, experimentation and varied beverage techniques.
VINYL Bar Takeover Vol. 17 will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 8pm onward at VINYL Music Cocktail Bar, Level 16, Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar.
