Theater of Taste returns to Jakarta for its 2026 edition with A World of Taste, an event by Dwimitra Sukses Perkasa (DSP) that brings together premium wines and spirits through tastings, masterclasses, food pairings and immersive experiences.

Taking place at Royal Glasshouse, Park Hyatt Jakarta, the event invites wine and spirits enthusiasts, industry professionals and the wider lifestyle community to explore the cultures, craftsmanship and stories behind the bottles. The experience also features RIEDEL glassware, selected to highlight the characteristics of each wine and spirit.

Rather than focusing solely on traditional tastings, Theater of Taste 2026 presents the event as a journey through different wine-producing regions. Guests, referred to as “Travelers,” can explore destinations including Italy, France, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, Argentina, Spain and Chile, with each destination offering a different perspective on wine, culture and heritage.

The event will also highlight two tequila releases. Clase Azul will introduce Clase Azul Día de Muertos Edición Limitada Trascender 2026, the latest addition to its Día de Muertos collection following the completion of its Nuestros Recuerdos series, which ran from 2021 to 2025 and was limited to 10,000 decanters worldwide.

Meanwhile, Código 1530 marks its 15th anniversary with the launch of its 15-Year Extra Añejo, a limited release of 350 bottles worldwide. Both showcases offer guests an opportunity to explore different approaches to tequila-making and the cultural heritage behind the brands.

“This year, I wanted to bring our brands’ stories to life in a more meaningful way. Having had the opportunity to visit and experience different distilleries, I felt it was important to bring those experiences back to Indonesia and share them with our audience,” says Eugenia Agnes, Project Manager of Theater of Taste 2026.

“Each brand in our portfolio carries its own rich history, craftsmanship, and story. Those experiences inspired us to create an event that brings each brand’s story to life in a more tangible and meaningful way, creating a space where guests can not only discover the brands, but also experience the stories and craftsmanship behind them.”

For Cindy Della Gocciardi, Business Development Manager of DSP, the event also provides an opportunity to introduce the breadth of the company’s wine and spirits portfolio to both industry professionals and enthusiasts.

“For us, Theatre of Taste is an opportunity to introduce the breadth of our wine and spirits portfolio to both the industry and enthusiasts, while strengthening awareness of DSP as the official importer and distributor of these brands in Indonesia,” she says.

“We hope the event can encourage greater appreciation and curiosity around premium wine and spirits, while contributing to the continued growth of the market. Looking ahead, we want to continue bringing quality brands and experiences to Indonesia and making them more accessible to those who appreciate them.”

Theater of Taste 2026 will feature an extensive selection of brands from across the DSP Lifestyle portfolio, including Clase Azul, Código 1530, G.H. Mumm, Mijenta, Aberlour, Malfy, San Marzano, Leonardo da Vinci, Batasiolo, Mi Terruno, L’Escarelle, Mionetto, La La Land, Vik, Antigal, Domaine Roux, Freixenet, Babich, Casa Silva, Bodegas Marques de Caceres, Tempus Two and McGuigan, alongside other labels.

Through its combination of regional wine exploration, premium spirits, tastings, masterclasses and food pairings, Theater of Taste 2026 aims to give guests a closer look at the people, places and traditions behind the wines and spirits represented at the event.
