Legendary culinary destination Kahyangan has been within Jakarta’s culinary radar since the 1970s. Nestled above the high floors within Pullman Jakarta, the place gives a familiar warmth both from the classic Japanese dishes served and the iconic Bundaran HI view.

For as long as it has been standing, loyal customers keep coming back for their teppanyaki and shabu-shabu experience; aside from their exceptional service. Today, the establishment offers a new chapter through their launch of The Teppan Ritual by Kahyangan, which is a more approachable and laxed interpretation of Japanese weekend dining.

This weekend-only experience begins with an abundant buffet selection featuring sushi and sashimi assortment, live tuna cutting, Japanese appetizers, seasonal salads, seafood specialties, tempura, yakimono selections, comforting warm dishes, and signature classics thoughtfully curated to encourage leisurely exploration and shared dining moments.

To conclude the experience, desserts are presented à la minute, offering a more refined and personalized finale through selections such as yuzu ice cream, matcha ice cream, azuki cheesecake, assorted mochi, and Kahyangan’s signature strong  coffee jelly. To elevate one’s afternoon, guests can also enjoy an endless pour of Sake or Wine pairing designed to complement the overall journey.

The Teppan Ritual by Kahyangan is available every Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 3 PM.
