The St. Regis Bar Bangkok will host “The House of Astor – Global Bar Excellence,” a four-day cocktail programme bringing together leading bartenders from around the world from April 23 to 26, 2026. The inaugural event is designed as a showcase of international mixology, highlighting diverse styles, techniques, and cultural influences through a series of themed evenings.
The programme opens on April 23 with “Legacy of Legends,” featuring six bartenders from across the Marriott portfolio in Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan. The evening begins at 7:00 PM with presentations from Ambar Ubud Bar at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and The St. Regis Bar Jakarta, followed by Bar Sathorn from W Bangkok and The St. Regis Bar Bangkok, before concluding with late-night showcases by Gold Bar Tokyo and Punch Room Tokyo from The Tokyo EDITION. Each bar presents its own approach to contemporary cocktail craftsmanship.
On April 24, “Spirits of the East” shifts focus to Asian cocktail culture, running from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The session brings together regional bars including Vender Bar in Taichung, ranked No. 20 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, and AABBCC in New Delhi, highlighting flavour-driven cocktails and techniques that reflect the evolving identity of Asian mixology.
The third day, April 25, presents “World Icons,” a global masterclass-style evening from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The session features internationally recognised bars such as Handshake Speakeasy from Mexico City, ranked No. 1 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024 and No. 2 in 2025, alongside Alice from Seoul, ranked No. 13 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025. Participating bartenders will present cocktails shaped by narrative, technique, and a strong sense of place.
The programme concludes on April 26 with “Cocktails, Tapas & Friends – The Grand Finale,” held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The closing event features a line-up of Bangkok’s bars and visiting talents, including BKK Social Club, Zuma Bangkok, Opium Bar, Vesper, Bar Us, Firefly, Aqua, Aman Lounge, Stella Bangkok, and The Bamboo Bar. The afternoon combines cocktails with a selection of tapas, creating a more relaxed setting focused on collaboration and exchange.
Throughout April 23 to 25, guest bartenders will present cocktails at The St. Regis Bar, with prices starting from THB 450++ per glass. The grand finale on April 26 is priced from THB 1,999 net per person, inclusive of free-flow cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks, and tapas.
Positioned as a platform for global collaboration, the four-day programme highlights both established and emerging voices in the bar industry, offering a structured exploration of contemporary cocktail culture within a single venue.
