Two established fine dining restaurants from Indonesia and Thailand will collaborate for a one-night Four Hands dinner in Bangkok this March. Mozaic Ubud will join Clara Bangkok on Thursday, 5 March 2026, presenting a seven-course tasting menu developed by Chef Blake Thornley and Chef Christian Martena.

The collaboration brings Mozaic, long regarded as a benchmark for contemporary Indonesian gastronomy, into the kitchen of Clara Bangkok, a restaurant listed in the MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2026 and ranked No. 22 Best Italian Restaurant in the World 2025 by 50 Top Italy. Clara has also received “Tre Forchette” recognition from Gambero Rosso in 2025 and the “Maître of the Year 2024” Special Award from 50 Top Italy.

A Dialogue Between Bali and Italy

For the evening, the chefs will present a structured seven-course menu that combines Mozaic’s ingredient-driven Indonesian perspective with Clara’s contemporary Italian precision. The tasting is positioned as a culinary exchange, pairing Indonesian spices and local produce with European technique and composition.

The menu aims to balance contrast and continuity, moving between layered Southeast Asian flavours and restrained Italian structure. Each course is designed to reflect the chefs’ respective culinary philosophies while maintaining cohesion throughout the progression.
