At Sudestada Jakarta, the holiday season is being marked with flavors that highlight Argentina’s culinary heritage. The restaurant, located in Menteng, is closing the year with festive menus and gatherings that showcase its focus on grilled meats and traditional dishes.

For December, Sudestada is offering a holiday cake known as Torta Galesa. This dessert, often shared during family celebrations in Argentina, is available as part of a Christmas hamper. The cake is presented in a simple, elegant way and can be ordered until the end of the year, making it a seasonal centerpiece for gatherings.

Towards the end of the month, the restaurant will host its Meat Bazaar. Running from late December into January, the promotion allows guests to select from a range of cuts such as picanha, striploin, ribeye, and T-bone. Each choice is grilled to order, continuing the restaurant’s emphasis on authentic Argentinian cooking.

The final night of the year will be celebrated with an Asado Dinner. Asado, a communal style of grilling that is central to Argentina’s food culture, will be the focus of an all-you-can-eat feast. Guests will be able to enjoy a wide spread of meats and traditional dishes, creating a warm setting for families and friends to welcome the new year together.

Looking ahead, Sudestada enters 2026 with new projects under the Sudestada Group. Within the same building, COAL offers a South American-inspired bar experience on the third floor. In South Jakarta, CasaLena provides a more upscale take on Latin American grilling. The group has also expanded into café culture with Signature Café at Padel Pro Signature in Permata Hijau.

“This year has been a beautiful journey for us, full of growth, creativity, and meaningful connections with our guests,” said Victor Taborda, Executive Chef of Sudestada Jakarta. “As we enter 2026, we are excited to continue sharing the traditions of Argentina, from our grill culture to our festive offerings, while also expanding Sudestada’s presence through new concepts and new communities.”

Through these holiday offerings and upcoming ventures, Sudestada continues to build on its identity as a place where Argentinian food traditions meet Jakarta’s growing appetite for diverse dining and lifestyle experiences.
