Artesian Jakarta at The Langham, Jakarta is closing the year with its most extensive bar program yet, hosting The Artesian Cocktail Collective, a multi-day takeover featuring 14 bartenders from nine cities across Asia. Held on 3, 6, 12, and 13 December 2025, the event marks the bar’s second anniversary while highlighting Jakarta’s growing role in the region’s cocktail circuit.

Positioned as the largest bar collaboration ever hosted at Artesian, the series brings together award-winning bars and rising talents for four evenings of rotating guest shifts. Each night introduces a different lineup, offering Jakarta audiences a taste of contemporary Asian mixology.

A Two-Week Lineup of Regional Talent

The first week opens on 3 December with Yutaka from Koda Jakarta, Sebastian from Segno Bali, and Will & Tee of The Enigma Mansion Saigon, ranked #93 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars. Their presence sets the tone for a takeover shaped by diverse styles and bold flavor philosophies.

On 6 December, bartenders Billy & Jenifer from Alibi Hong Kong, Arya from L’Atelier Bali, and Axel Gonzales from Terrible Baby Hong Kong (ranked #378 on 500Bars) continue the momentum with contrasting approaches to technique and storytelling.

The following week brings an equally varied lineup. On 12 December, the bar welcomes Vandena from Shady Pig Bali, Tanesh of Backdoor Bodega Penang (#64 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars and winner of the Best Cocktail Menu Award 2025), Pat from Pine & Co Seoul (#52 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025), and Mark from Winglei Bar.

The finale on 13 December pairs regional guests with Jakarta’s own talent pool: Andrea from Artesian Jakarta, Opung and Rony from The Cocktail Club (#12 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024), Marsha from Cosmo Pony (#38 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars), and Wendy & Patrick from Problem Child Philippines. The evening underscores the collaboration between local and regional bartenders that continues to shape Jakarta’s cocktail identity.

A Program Designed for Discovery

Across four sessions, guests can expect reinterpretations of classics, experimental signatures, and cocktails shaped by the bartenders’ personal narratives. As described in the release, each night serves as “a curated journey of flavours,” turning Artesian Jakarta into a creative hub for exchange across Asia’s bar communities.

Artesian Jakarta’s Role in the City’s Bar Landscape

Drawing inspiration from Artesian London, long regarded among the world’s top bars, the Jakarta outpost has positioned itself as a cornerstone of the city’s bar scene since opening. The anniversary celebration highlights its continued commitment to refinement, collaboration, and cultural exchange within the region.
