CasaLena in South Jakarta is entering a new stage in its culinary journey, introducing a refreshed structure that separates lunch and dinner into distinct menus. The change, beginning in December 2025, reflects the restaurant’s focus on presenting Latin American cooking with more definition, giving each part of the day its own rhythm and character.
From 11:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon, the lunch menu leans toward comfort and variety. It brings together tacos, pastas, and Latin-inspired mains designed for a relaxed pace. Dishes such as slow-braised beef tacos and creamy tomato-based pastas stand out as new additions, offering both light bites and heartier plates that suit the flow of daytime dining.
Between 4:00 and 5:00 in the afternoon, CasaLena introduces a Pizza & Pasta Hour, highlighting its wood-fired pizzas and handmade pastas. This bridge between lunch and dinner keeps the energy of the kitchen moving while giving guests a focused window to enjoy two of the restaurant’s staples.
Dinner begins at 5:00 in the evening and shifts toward a more refined expression of CasaLena’s grill-first identity. The menu places woodfire-grilled meats and seafood at the center, supported by specialties reserved for night. The approach emphasizes deeper flavors and fire-driven techniques, presenting a more mature interpretation of Latin American cuisine once the day turns to evening.
Executive Chef Silverio Martinez describes the new direction as a way of giving clarity to each part of the day. Lunch is playful and vibrant, while dinner carries a stronger sense of refinement and depth. Together, the menus mark CasaLena’s progression into a more curated dining journey, one that moves from tacos and pastas in the afternoon to premium cuts and seafood by night.
With this shift, CasaLena continues to shape its identity as a Latin American grill in Jakarta, offering a thoughtful evolution of flavor and fire that unfolds from midday into evening.
