Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort is celebrating Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day with a special culinary event in collaboration with Hatten Wine, a locally produced Balinese wine. The “Kuliner Nusantara Buffet Night” will take place on Sunday, 17 August from 6 PM onwards at the resort’s Kwee Zeen Restaurant, offering you a flavorful journey through the diverse cuisines of the Indonesian archipelago.
The buffet will feature a wide selection of traditional dishes such as siomay, gado-gado, soto daging, bebek timbungan, and grilled rahang tuna. A gorengan station will also be available, serving popular Indonesian fried snacks. Each dish is prepared to showcase the rich culinary heritage of the country, with flavors and ingredients drawn from various regions. You will have the opportunity to enjoy wine pairings from Hatten Wine, adding a local touch to the evening’s dining experience. The collaboration brings together authentic Indonesian cuisine and Balinese wine, creating a unique celebration of local flavors.
“This year’s Independence Day will be truly special as we are collaborating with Hatten Wine, a locally sourced wine in Bali.” said Andrew Clark, Director of Food & Beverages at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. “We are excited to present a vibrant Indonesian buffet dinner that will leave our guests wanting more, all while incorporating an authentic Balinese cultural performance.” Set within the elegant surroundings of Kwee Zeen, the Kuliner Nusantara Buffet Night invites you to experience the spirit of Indonesian independence through food, wine, and culture.
