Since 1976, Sari Delicatessen and Cafe has been part of Jakarta’s food scene, known for its connection to Indonesian flavors and homemade breads. Located inside Sari Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection, the café has now added several new dishes to its menu—blending traditional influences with something a bit more modern.
Among the new items, the spotlight falls on recipes shaped by Indonesian tastes. One of them is Bebek Panada, a baked pastry stuffed with duck ragout and sambal roa—a spicy chili paste popular in Manado cooking. There’s also Pisang Toast, topped with the same sambal for a mix of sweet and spicy. For something more filling, the Smoked Crispy Duck Breast offers a combo of fried duck, gulai sauce, and lemon rice—a rich and bold take on classic comfort food. Bread has always been a part of Sari Deli’s identity, and the new menu continues that tradition. The Philly Steak features soft brioche packed with slices of beef and gooey cheese. The Lobster and Prawn Roll leans more toward seafood, served in a soft roll with a creamy spicy mayo dressing.
A few light starters also make an appearance. The Soft Shell Crab Potato Salad mixes crispy crab with smooth potatoes and fresh greens. The Caprese Salad keeps it simple with tomatoes, mozzarella, and herbs—a nod to Italian flavor. For pasta lovers, there’s Rigatoni Sugo Rosa, served with a creamy tomato sauce, chicken, and sausage, offering a hearty, cozy bite. If you’re in the mood for something richer, the Braised Short Ribs stand out. They’re slow-cooked and served with pumpkin purée, bringing together soft textures and warm flavors. And to finish, the Sticky Toffee Pudding adds a sweet end to the meal, served warm with caramel and vanilla ice cream.
With these new additions, Sari Delicatessen and Cafe continues to build on its legacy—keeping familiar flavors while offering new ones to discover. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner, the updated menu brings together comforting dishes and fresh ideas, served in a setting that’s been part of Jakarta’s dining story for decades.
