Wynn Resorts Macau has been announced as the Official Host Partner of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, marking the second consecutive year that Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau will host the region’s leading bar awards programme. The partnership coincides with Wynn’s 20th anniversary in Macau and will be accompanied by a six-day festival featuring guest bartenders, chefs, and hospitality professionals from around the world.
Running from 24 to 29 July, the programme will centre around the launch of the “Wing Lei Bar & Friends” Special Edition, a resort-wide series of guest shifts, collaborative dining experiences, tastings, and industry gatherings held across both integrated resorts.
In addition to hosting the Asia’s 50 Best Bars Awards Ceremony on 28 July, Wynn will also stage key industry events including the Meet the Bartenders media roundtable, the Bartenders’ Feast, and the official Closing Party. More than 50 bartenders and chefs from Asia, Europe, and North America are expected to participate throughout the week.
Guest Bars and International Bartenders Take Over Wing Lei Bar
A major focus of the programme will take place at Wing Lei Bar, where a series of guest shifts and themed takeovers will showcase some of the most recognised names in the global bar industry.
The week begins with Asia Checks In, Let’s Shake Up, bringing together bartenders from ZLB23 (Bangalore), Avoca (Hong Kong), Bar Sathorn (Bangkok), and Stay Gold (Singapore). Other highlights include The Road Less Traveled, featuring Nomad Lab (Ulaanbaatar), Barc (Kathmandu), and Kiki Lounge (Douglas), and The Best of British II, spotlighting bars from Leeds, Liverpool, and Birmingham.
Industry veterans will also headline several sessions. Antonio Lai, co-founder of Quinary and The Opposites in Hong Kong, will join drinks entrepreneur Nico de Soto for the Shake & Stir Hall of Fame session, while four previous recipients of the Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award will participate in a dedicated takeover event.
Additional appearances include Malaysian bars Three X Co and Penrose, Barcelona-based drinks consultant Danil Nevsky, and an all-female bartending showcase titled Behind Her Bar, curated by industry figures from Hong Kong and Singapore.
Culinary Collaborations Across Wynn’s Restaurants
Alongside the beverage programme, Wynn’s restaurants will host a series of collaborative dining events pairing renowned chefs with premium spirits and cocktail experiences.
At Chef Tam’s Seasons, Cantonese chef Tam Kwok Fung will present a six-course whisky pairing dinner with Michter’s Bourbon, while later in the week he will collaborate with acclaimed Japanese chef Yoshihiro Narisawa for a four-hands lunch combining Narisawa’s “Innovative Satoyama Cuisine” with Chef Tam’s seasonal Cantonese cooking.
Other culinary highlights include a six-hand Chinese dining collaboration between Lakeview Palace, Drunken Fish, and Shenzhen restaurant Ensue, as well as a special pairing dinner at SW Steakhouse featuring The Macallan whisky.
The programme also includes collaborations between bars and restaurants, such as Smoke & Bitters x SW Steakhouse, where the Sri Lankan bar and smokehouse will join Wynn’s culinary team for a combined cocktail and barbecue experience.
Celebrating Global Cocktail Culture
Throughout the week, Wynn will also host tastings highlighting the newly launched UNITY 2.0 cocktail menu at Wing Lei Bar. Developed by Mark Lloyd, Director of Bars at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, the menu features 12 cocktails inspired by stories and experiences gathered during the bar’s international guest shift programme.
With a programme spanning cocktail culture, culinary collaborations, and industry networking, Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 is expected to once again bring together leading figures from the global hospitality community in Macau. Through its role as host partner, Wynn aims to position both Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau as key destinations for international food and beverage events while celebrating two decades of operations in the city.
