Hi! Please tell us a bit about yourself and your day-to-day activities.
Hi FoodieS! I’m Ivan, I manage my own Bali Tour Guide, Ivan’s Tours Transport, and I’m also an influencer in Bali. I am actively searching for good food and great places to go.

What usually attracts you to visit a place to eat?
There are three things that I usually consider; it’s the service, the food, and whether the place is comfortable or not.

What do you look for in street food?
Regarding street food, I like lamb skewer, Soto Ayam, and some good fresh vegetables.

Is there any food you can eat every day without getting bored?
Seafood! I never get tired of eating seafood every day.

Do you have any memorable food memories?
The seafood in Jimbaran! It is something that could easily lift my mood. I go to Jimbaran almost every week just for their seafood.

What is the most unforgettable food experience you have ever had?
One of the most unforgettable food experiences I had was at the Cave Restaurant by chef Ryan Clift. It was a unique and memorable experience to dine in the only natural cave restaurant in the world.

Where do you usually go to hang out with friends or for special occasions with family?
The usual hangout with my family is to go to the Bedugul Botanical Gardens, to be precise, in Tabanan Bali; it’s cool that I can have a picnic with my family.

What are your favorite local dishes, and where do you go to eat them?
I like to eat chicken dishes, which you can easily find in the culinary area of Kuta. From Soto Ayam, Soto Ceker, and Ayam Kalasan.

Where are your top three dining places always on your favorite list?
For brunch, I recommend Daily Social at Sheraton Kuta! The others are Kojin Teppanyaki & Omakase Restaurant, and Wild Air Restaurant in Ubud.

What is your go-to comfort food, and where do you usually get them?
Soto Ayam at the Kuta market! Besides Soto Ayam, I love the Fish Head Soup and Ayam Kalasan. All of these you can easily find at the Kuta Market.
