Bali’s biggest food festival is returning from 30 May to 1 June 2025, with the theme of “Heritage” in celebration of its 10th anniversary. Attendees can expect to see talented young chefs elevating Indonesian cuisine and beloved culinary legends showcasing classic dishes. This festival pays tribute to Indonesia’s rich culinary identity, reminding us that heritage is not just a relic of the past but something we nurture daily.

“In our 10th year, we honor Indonesia’s rich culinary traditions and celebrate the flavors, techniques, and stories passed down through generations. Over three days, food enthusiasts can discover lesser-known regional specialties and enjoy recipes that have shaped our diverse food culture,” said Founder and Director Janet DeNeefe.

You can indulge in mouthwatering flavors at the festival’s famous free Food Market while enjoying a curated lineup of special events. The Masterclasses will offer personal tips and hands-on guidance to help you perfect your dishes. The Teater Kuliner stage will feature live cooking sessions, giving you plenty of face time with culinary talents as they reveal their most iconic recipes. Meanwhile, the Food for Thought stage will unite consumers and producers to share stories, network, and collaborate to create a vibrant and sustainable culinary future. This platform will showcase outstanding local changemakers, environmental heroes, dedicated farmers, and pioneering organizations working together to tackle significant issues and spark new ideas.

The festival has also unveiled its official artwork by Balinese illustrator Gusde Sidhi. His piece honors Indonesia’s culinary landscape through cultural symbolism and draws inspiration from traditional aesthetics. With rich motifs and detailed illustrations, the artwork celebrates the beauty of Indonesia’s most beloved dishes and the deep-rooted connection between food, tradition, and community. “This connection between food and heritage is at the heart of our 2025 Festival, and we can’t wait to welcome you on a journey to explore the rich history behind every bite,” commented Janet DeNeefe.
