Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week (KLCW) is thrilled to announce its inaugural event, taking place from 24 April to 30 April 2024. This week-long celebration aims to elevate the cocktail and spirits landscape by fostering a vibrant community of enthusiasts, bartenders, and spirit brands.
At the heart of KLCW is the aspiration to not only increase the consumer base for cocktails and spirits but to also cultivate new regulars and advocates. With a diverse array of venues, from inmate bars for quiet enjoyment to lively spots for social gatherings, KLCW promises an inclusive experience for all.
The festival will kick off with a cocktail compeBBon showcasing bartenders’ creativity, followed by a city-wide takeover featuring 5 zones in Bangsar, PJ/TTDI, Damansara Heights, Chinatown, and KL City.
Esteemed bars from Asia and beyond, featuring superstar bars such as Alice Cheongdam (KR), Bar Leone (HK), Cosmo Pony (IN), will be taking over local bars, offering Kuala Lumpur residents a taste of global cocktail culture.
KLCW will also feature seminars, masterclasses, the KLCW Open cocktail compeBBon and cocktail pairing dinners, enhancing the educational aspect of the event with highlights including the Festival Village at APW Bangsar on 27 April 2024, where attendees can explore booths, participate in masterclasses, watch the finale of the KLCW cocktail competition and enjoy live music.
