Recently, they opened a new branch in the South, located on the 4th floor of the GBK Senayan Modern Parking Building, with a more spacious and upscale space designed by the renowned Andramatin Architects. Here, guests can expect a live-seafood dining experience, where they can select fresh seafood to be enjoyed at the table, all while taking in the beautiful Senayan or SCBD city view. Some must-haves include the luxurious Sentosa Fried Lobster, as well as a range of fresh crab and mantis shrimp dishes.

Starting from an online business that sells cookies, pastries, and signature chiffon cakes, Best Batch has now expanded by opening a brick-and-mortar store in Bintaro. Other than their vast range of beloved baked goods, you can also enjoy a variety of Asian-Western dishes to fill the stomach here, like their chic Samyang Chicken Rice Bowl or the delicious Truffle Mushroom Pasta. Now with Lucky Chin’s, you can get a taste of such experience, but made with locally sourced quality ingredients. Located inside the ROW 9 compound space (near the Blok M MRT station), Lucky Chin’s offers convenient and affordable American-Chinese food with a takeout concept served in three types of set meals: Double Chin, Triple Chin, and Dynasty Chin. With the set meal, you can choose a main and sides from ten different classic American-Chinese dishes such as Orange Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and many more. Fried Club

Another exciting new food joint, The Fried Club, has debuted at the Grand Wijaya Center! Located on the second floor, its eye-catching pink signage looks striking between the line of shophouses and offices, while the place itself is beaming with a colorful rustic ambiance. As the name suggests, The Fried Club offers fast food-style dishes mainly with fried components. Starting from their starters, you can expect classics like homemade golden chicken nuggets, onion rings, and potato wedges, while the mains include fried chicken, rice bowls, and sandwiches–most of them also still heavy on the fried side. Be sure to grab a bottle of soda or milkshake while you’re there, and immerse yourself in the nostalgic memories of simple and comfort food.

From Yakitori to the signature Grilled Saba Fish, these straightforward, quality Japanese dishes will warm the belly and comfort you until the last bite. With chef Tsuyoshi Saeki leading the kitchen, you can opt for an Omakase set for a one-of-a-kind experience specially prepared by him.

Cha Ching Clan

Cha Ching Clan is the newest oriental-themed bistro in Canggu, offering North-western Chinese cuisine and well-crafted, spirit-forward cocktails. Though they use modern approaches, that doesn’t erase the authenticity of the Chinese-Dongbei flavors here. After all, two native Dongbei sifu chefs helm the kitchen. The menu reflects both chefs’ culinary experience in Dongbei, featuring meat and seafood dishes that heavily incorporate stir-frying, steaming, and barbeque technique, giving the dishes a distinct charred “wok hei” aroma that keeps you coming back for more. The spotlights are the variety of stir-fry, as well as the ‘Seafood Platter,’ a tasty feast consisting of fresh crab, clams, and prawns.

As one of Canggu’s biggest bakeries, the two-story building is hard to miss with its green-tiled and high pillars facade. Although this artisan bakery is new, its reputation for quality is not, as they are practically the handiwork of the beloved 7 AM Bakery’s chef, Maxime Chené. They serve artisan bread and delectable pastries like Palmier and Canelé, but the pastry is not all there is here. You can also find their bread in the complete breakfast plates, like brioche in Oeuf Mouillette (soft, boiled egg and truffle butter) or sourdough in the Goat Cheese and Tomato Confit Skillet.
