Hotel Tentrem is set to launch a special culinary event titled “Tentrem Ing Rasa,” inspired by its mission to introduce and preserve Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage and traditions. This event, taking place during the holy month of Ramadan, will feature a harmonious dining experience across three of Hotel Tentrem’s properties in Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Jakarta.
Culinary Collaboration
During “Tentrem Ing Rasa,” four Executive Chefs from Hotel Tentrem will collaborate to present signature dishes from their respective cities. The event will take place at Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta on March 8-9, 2025, followed by Hotel Tentrem Semarang on March 13-14, 2025, and concluding at Hotel Tentrem Jakarta on March 21-22, 2025. The chefs involved include Executive Chef Philip Walasary from Yogyakarta, Executive Chef Alfi Ardian from Semarang, and Executive Chef Ivan Mangundap from Jakarta, all under the guidance of Executive Chef Sky Lee.

Special Menu Highlights
The collaboration will feature an array of enticing dishes that reflect the culinary traditions of each city.
- Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta will present classic Yogyakarta dishes such as Gudeg, Sate Klathak, Mangut Lele, and Mie Lethek. Notably, the Gudeg will include a unique twist with Gudeg Manggar, made from young coconut flowers. For dessert, guests can enjoy innovative creations like Gudeg Ice Cream and Pecel Ice Cream, combining traditional flavors with modern presentation.
- Hotel Tentrem Semarang will showcase Babat Gongso, a traditional Semarang dish made from beef tripe cooked in a spicy and sweet seasoning, paired with Salmon Asam Gelugur, which offers a refreshing and tangy flavor profile.
- Hotel Tentrem Jakarta will feature Bebek Cibeber, a signature dish from Banten presented in a modern style, alongside Ayam Bakar Rabeg, a grilled chicken dish seasoned with spices from Madura, providing a delightful combination of spicy and savory flavors.
