Highlighting gastronomy and culture through arts, Art and Dine program is back with new artworks from promising Balinese artist Putu Winata. The dining experience welcomes guests to dine amidst curated exhibitions highlighting the unique theme of “Imagine Asia.” The art installation is curated by Galeri Zen1, a Bali-based fine art collector and consultant.
The exhibition starts on 21st October 2022 and until 30th November 2022 at The Ritz-Carlton Bali’s signature Indonesian restaurant, Bejana. The restaurant opens for dinner from 18.00 to 22.00 every day. During this collaboration, Galeri Zen1 brings more than ten artwork collections of Putu ‘PW’ Winata to Bejana Restaurant.
Putu Winata is a promising Balinese artist in the art industry. He is in the top 10 nominations for the 2022 UOB Art of The Year Awards – the annual art competition, the longest-running Singapore, and one of the most recognized Southeast Asia. Held in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, the competition aims to uncover the next generation of great Southeast Asian artists and contribute to greater awareness and appreciation of art. His artworks were influenced by many impressionist artists, such as Claude Monet, Cecily Brown, Vincent Van Gogh, and Edvard Munch.
In celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month, one of Putu Winata’s artworks, “Syahdu Bumi,” is open for auction. Some proceeds will go to Bali Pink Ribbon to support the foundation. The auction will start on 21st October 2022.
During the Art and Dine program, Bejana’s signature dishes, The Archipelago Rijsttafel, are available to pamper the guest’s palate. The set includes dishes across Indonesia and Bali and Bejana’s signature dishes that guests can also find on the a la carte menu. Think about flavourful Rendang Sapi (Beef Rendang), Ikan Menyat-Nyat (Fish Fillet Spicy Garlic), Lodeh Jantung Pisang Klungah (Javanese Coconut Soup), Jukut Cantok (Steamed Vegetable in Peanut Sauce), and many more. The price is IDR 880,000++ for two people.
