Wisteria, a new rooftop dining destination from Wonderspace, has opened in Canggu with a menu that combines Western comfort food with Asian inspired flavors. Designed for brunch, lunch and leisurely afternoons, the restaurant brings together an open air setting, a relaxed daytime atmosphere and a menu led by Chef Febry Adhe.
The kitchen takes familiar Western dishes and reworks them with flavors and ingredients from across Asia. The Wisteria Benedict puts a different spin on the brunch classic, while the Japanese Shakshuka brings Japanese inspired flavors and textures to the familiar shakshuka format.
For the mains, the Gochujang Prawn Pappardelle combines creamy pasta with prawns and gochujang, adding depth and a gentle heat to the dish. The Gnocchi Kimchi Sauce takes a subtler approach, bringing a Korean influence to the pasta dish, while the Pandan Waffle gives a familiar daytime staple a tropical finish.
Under Chef Febry Ade’s direction, the kitchen focuses on dishes that remain familiar and comforting while adding unexpected flavors to the plate. Western classics form the foundation of the menu, with ingredients such as gochujang, kimchi and pandan used to give the dishes an Asian touch.
The same approach carries over to the drinks menu, which features signature cocktails and mocktails created for daytime drinking. The Wisteria Rosella Spritz offers a refreshing option, while the Pink Guava Kemangi Fizz combines fruity notes with the aromatic character of kemangi. The mocktail selection provides additional options for guests who prefer to keep their drinks alcohol free.
Wisteria’s open air rooftop setting is designed to complement its daytime focus. Natural light, tropical greenery and an open layout create a social space for casual brunches, group gatherings and afternoons that stretch into drinks. The design remains polished without feeling formal, with the setting centered around food, conversation and a relaxed pace.
