Sudirman Hall has officially opened at Sequis Tower in Jakarta’s central business district, bringing together event spaces, hospitality services, and culinary facilities under one roof. Developed and managed by FARPOINT Realty Indonesia, the 500-guest venue is designed for a range of occasions, from corporate gatherings and cultural programs to weddings, celebrations, and food-focused events.
One of the venue’s dedicated spaces is the Chef’s Lounge, an intimate setting designed for private dining, tastings, chef collaborations, and bespoke events. The space is supported by a professional kitchen and dedicated performance stage, allowing culinary events to incorporate live cooking and chef-led experiences.
The Chef’s Lounge forms part of a wider collection of spaces designed by international designer Shay Lam. The Main Hall, the venue’s largest space, can accommodate concerts, performances, weddings, celebrations, and brand experiences, while its pre-function areas can be used for registration, networking, and activations.
For smaller gatherings, Meeting Rooms accommodate between 12 and 40 guests and are complemented by a dedicated breakout area. Meanwhile, the Socratic Auditorium features a Harvard-style amphitheatre with integrated laptop tables, individual power access, accessibility-friendly features, and a 21:9 LED canvas for presentations and live programming.
A Space for Culinary Collaborations
Beyond private events, Sudirman Hall will also host culinary programming as part of its broader cultural calendar. Through ARC Sudirman, the venue’s promoter and cultural programming platform, the space will present a range of programs spanning music, theatre, dance, leadership, executive learning, and multidisciplinary experiences.
For the F&B community, the Chef’s Lounge provides an adaptable setting for chef collaborations, tasting events, and private dining experiences, with the professional kitchen allowing culinary teams to work directly within the event space.
The venue’s production capabilities are designed to support these experiences as well, with professional sound, lighting, visual, and live-streaming systems installed throughout the property. A Steinway & Sons grand piano is also available for performances and cultural programming.
