Hennessy MyWay 2026 closed its Indonesian chapter with a final round that brought together five bartenders from different corners of the country. Each was asked to present a new cocktail and a service ritual that expressed their own style. The judging panel looked at taste, sustainability, product knowledge, ritual serve, and presentation before deciding on the winner.
The finalists were Putra Galantza of Artesian Bar Jakarta, Dek Arya from Padma Resort Legian Bali, I Kadek Wahyu Sastrawan of Jumeirah Bali, Ni Ketut Fridayanti from La Brisa Bali, and Rheina Lydian of Spiegel All Day Bar & Dining Semarang. After the last round, held at The St. Regis Bar Jakarta, Galantza was named National Champion. His thoughtful approach to storytelling and execution earned him the highest recognition and the chance to represent Indonesia at the Hennessy MyWay Global Final in Cognac, France this October.
“Winning Hennessy MyWay Indonesia 2026 is an incredible honour and a meaningful milestone in my bartending journey. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my creativity and passion for the craft, and I’m excited to represent Indonesia on the global stage in France. I hope to bring not only my cocktail, but also my story, identity, and the spirit of Indonesia to the Global Finals,” said Galantza.
The competition began months earlier with submissions from bartenders nationwide, followed by judging sessions in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Balikpapan, and Bali. Ten semifinalists were narrowed down to five, who then faced the final challenge in Jakarta. With Galantza’s win, Hennessy MyWay 2026 highlights the dedication and individuality of Indonesia’s bartenders while preparing to showcase their talent on the international stage.
