A beautiful open-air restaurant with a sophisticated contemporary design with the old Balinese architecture details. Timur means east in Indonesian, representing the restaurant’s location on the eastern side of Komaneka at Keramas with a spectacular 360-degree Indian ocean view. A rice field view will escort the guest from the hotel’s entrance to the restaurant. The restaurant has 76 seats, overlooking the 40-meter-long beaming swimming pool.
Timur Kitchen has Indonesian roots and is internationally adapted, with hints of flavorful varieties on the menu. There are also vegetarian menus served at the restaurant. Komaneka’s Executive chef delightfully curates all the dishes. The cuisine at Timur Kitchen makes innovative use of the exquisite flavors of Indonesia. The repertoire of spices includes many treasures from the Indonesian archipelago, such as the rich dark nut kluwek; the bright, peppery flavor of torch ginger; and tangy lemongrass. Humble produce from local farmers is transformed in combination with luxury ingredients.
Events and special dinners can be arranged for a memorable culinary journey in a natural environment of spectacular Balinese landscape and architecture under the care of the gracious service team.
Komaneka at Keramas Beach is the newest in the collection of Komaneka Resorts boutique hotels on a sprawling, vast property that comes right to the edge of a beautiful black-sand beach. Komaneka at Keramas is about a 30-minute drive from Ubud, 15 minutes from Sanur, and 50 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
