Chef Luca Fantin and Resident Chef Alessandro Mazzali are set to welcome renowned Chef Yusuke Takada to BVLGARI Resort Bali’s Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin on August 23 and 24, 2024, for an exclusive four-hands dinner. This special event promises to be a fusion of the chefs’ distinct creative styles, each showcasing a deep appreciation for fresh, seasonal produce.

Chef Yusuke Takada, the culinary mastermind behind La Cime in Osaka, brings with him a wealth of experience that blends the intricacies of classic French cuisine with modern influences while maintaining a unique Japanese essence. La Cime, which translates to ‘the peak’ or ‘summit’ in French, has consistently lived up to its name since its opening. Chef Yusuke’s dishes often incorporate traditional Japanese ingredients like tofu skin, wasabi, and miso, celebrating the local produce of Japan. His cuisine also reflects cultural elements from Osaka and his native Amami Ōshima island, resulting in an intricate and unique dining experience. La Cime has been honored with Two Michelin Stars and currently holds the No. 9 spot on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list.

Reflecting on his culinary philosophy, Chef Luca Fantin shared, “My cuisine is simple. It is about embracing the seasons, which means using seasonal ingredients, that is the main principle, and approaching their core to bring out their flavours not to cover or change them.” He expressed his excitement about the upcoming collaboration, adding, “I am excited to welcome Chef Yusuke, a dear friend of mine and an excellent chef to BVLGARI Resort Bali. Expect an interesting menu founded on our love for seasonal and fresh ingredients.”

Diners attending the event can look forward to an 8-course tasting menu, meticulously crafted by both chefs. The menu will also feature an option for a premium wine pairing, curated from Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin’s Wine Spectator-awarded wine list, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin is the creation of acclaimed Italian chef Luca Fantin, who is celebrated for his ability to blend classical Italian cuisine with local flavors and ingredients, always staying true to the seasonality and quality of the products. While Chef Luca Fantin oversees the flagship Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin at Tokyo’s Bulgari Ginza Tower, Resident Head Chef Alessandro Mazzali brings this vision to life in Bali, executing the recipes with exceptional talent, mastery, and sophisticated cooking techniques.

The enchanting atmosphere of Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin, illuminated by candlelight and reflected in the adjacent pools, offers a truly fine dining experience. The restaurant’s intimate and chic setting is enhanced by soft lighting, a collection of vintage Bvlgari artworks adorning the walls, and an endless view of the sea. The Four Hands Dinner will begin with sunset cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner service at 7 p.m., making for an unforgettable evening of culinary excellence.
