Li Feng, at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta

This may be the first Michelin starred associated Chinese restaurant in Jakarta. Since the beginning, the hotel has partnered with Chef Fei from the Michelin starred restaurant, Jiang, at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou to create the menu as well as supervising the quality. Besides Cantonese dishes, the dim sum selections here are not to be missed. They have the whole selection of dim sum menu, and some of our favorites are black truffle pork and shrimp shu mai; beef short ribs with Szechuan sauce; and the classic BBQ pork char siew bun.

The Chinese National at Swissotel Jakarta, PIK Avenue

Since the first opened in 2019, Chinese National has become the talk of the town. Dubbed as one of the beautifully designed Chinese restaurants in Jakarta by many, it offers a wide array of Chinese delicacies from Peking duck to lobster. Last year, they launched an all-you-can-eat dim sum menu. Available from Monday to Friday, the items offered are not as many as other Chinese restaurants in town but taste wise it didn’t disappoint. Our favorites from the menu are salted egg bao, red bean bao, chicken feet in black pepper sauce, and Szechuan duck spring roll.
