Li Feng, at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta
This may be the first Michelin starred associated Chinese restaurant in Jakarta. Since the beginning, the hotel has partnered with Chef Fei from the Michelin starred restaurant, Jiang, at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou to create the menu as well as supervising the quality. Besides Cantonese dishes, the dim sum selections here are not to be missed. They have the whole selection of dim sum menu, and some of our favorites are black truffle pork and shrimp shu mai; beef short ribs with Szechuan sauce; and the classic BBQ pork char siew bun.

The Chinese National at Swissotel Jakarta, PIK Avenue
Since the first opened in 2019, Chinese National has become the talk of the town. Dubbed as one of the beautifully designed Chinese restaurants in Jakarta by many, it offers a wide array of Chinese delicacies from Peking duck to lobster. Last year, they launched an all-you-can-eat dim sum menu. Available from Monday to Friday, the items offered are not as many as other Chinese restaurants in town but taste wise it didn’t disappoint. Our favorites from the menu are salted egg bao, red bean bao, chicken feet in black pepper sauce, and Szechuan duck spring roll.
This restaurant is maybe the place you go when your family needs some Chinese cuisine fix. May Star has—literally—massive choices of Chinese delicacies, including a whole book of dim sum menu. If you need a dim sum, the selections are created for any family member. Amongst the massive selections of dim sums, our favorites are May Star special homemade mushroom bun, Malaysian pandan cake roll, seafood roll with oyster sauce, and pan-fried minced pork roll.

Wing Heng & Wing Lok
If you want affordable and tasty dim sums, the Wing Heng is the place. Located in Jalan Pluit Karang Utara Blok A4U No.65A, Wing Heng is open 24 hours every day and it is usually pretty crowded during mealtime. (We suggest you avoid dinner time as the queue is usually very long.). What makes Wing Heng famous amongst dim sum lovers is their generous portions of dim sum at affordable prices. Prices at Wing Heng start from Rp18.000 and the ones that you have to try are the shrimp hakau and pork shumai. Aside from its original place in Pluit, Wing Heng has also opened two branches located in Food Plaza Pantai Indah Kapuk and Emporium Pluit Mall. Recently, they also opened a halal-certified branch in Kemang under the name of Wing Lok Dim Sum by Wing Heng.
The restaurants open very early at 5:30 am. Perfect for those who like dim sum for breakfast. HAKA Dim Sum first opened in Bumi Serpong Damai before opening three more branches in Kemang, Bintaro, and Blok M respectively. This dim sum shop is quite popular among teenagers due to its affordable prices. Some of our favorite dim sums here are grilled chasiu Hong Kong, salted egg pao, and fried mantao.
