Executive Chef Tam Kwok Fung of Chef Tam’s Seasons, the new concept restaurant at Wynn Palace, teams up with Chef Pam Pichaya Soontornyanakij of Thailand’s renowned restaurant POTONG to present a highly anticipated four-hand dining experience at Chef Tam’s Seasons on May 24 and 25. Chef Tam’s Seasons and POTONG have each been awarded prestigious MICHELIN stars and are on the list of 2024 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. Harnessing their expertise in flavors and advanced culinary techniques, the two acclaimed chefs are joining together to offer an extraordinary Cantonese-Thai gastronomic adventure. This partnership with an internationally renowned chef introduces an unparalleled dining experience in Macau, further enhancing the city’s status as a “Creative City of Gastronomy”.

POTONG, helmed by Chef Pam, showcases Thai-Chinese fusion cuisine. It is listed as 17th on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 and ranked 88th on the extended list of World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023. Chef Pam, a Thai Chinese native of Bangkok, began her culinary career at New York’s Culinary Institute of America. She then honed her culinary skills at prominent Michelin-starred restaurants. In 2021, Chef Pam returned to Thailand and opened POTONG, where she creates dishes inspired by her unique 5-ELEMENT culinary philosophy, which seamlessly blends the essence of Thai cuisine with her Chinese heritage. Chef Pam is the youngest and fastest Thai female chef to receive the ‘Asia’s Best Female Chef’ accolade in culinary history.

Cantonese Master Chef Tam Kwok Fung is the mastermind behind Chef Tam’s Seasons. The new conceptual restaurant at Wynn Palace, which opened less than a year ago, has been awarded one MICHELIN star and is on the 2024 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list, being “The Best Restaurant in Macau 2024”. Inspired by the 24 solar terms of Chinese traditional wisdom, Chef Tam revitalizes Cantonese cuisine by matching global ingredients with contemporary culinary techniques, complete with a food and nourishment philosophy that pays homage to seasonality. Chef Tam is revered around the world for his award-winning Cantonese cuisine, leading his restaurants to international honors such as MICHELIN stars, the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide and placement on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. Throughout his career, he has also served a host of dignitaries – from politicians to international royalties – actively promoting the legacy and essence of Cantonese cuisine worldwide. He is also Macau’s first recipient of ‘Chef of the Year’ honor at the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide in 2023.

The exclusive four-hand collaboration will be held from May 24 to 25 at Chef Tam’s Seasons, priced at MOP2,388 per person and an additional MOP1,380 for wine pairing experience (subject to 10% service charge). Seating is limited.
