Argentinian restaurant Sudestada is celebrating its seventh anniversary with a special event titled “7 Years of Flames & Friendships,” highlighting the restaurant’s journey and the community it has built since opening in Jakarta.

Taking place at its Menteng restaurant, the anniversary celebration will feature a food festival with culinary collaborations, live entertainment, interactive activities, and special anniversary menus inspired by dishes that have shaped Sudestada’s identity over the years. Guests can also enjoy live music, cabaret performances, games, and photo installations throughout the event.

The celebration reflects two defining elements of the restaurant. “Flames” pays tribute to Sudestada’s Argentinian parrilla tradition and its focus on wood-fired grilling, while “Friendships” highlights the relationships and shared experiences that have developed around the restaurant over the years.

Founder and Executive Chef Victor Taborda said the anniversary is an opportunity to recognize the guests, partners, and team members who have contributed to Sudestada’s growth.

Beyond the culinary offerings, the event will include Memory Lane, an installation showcasing milestones from the restaurant’s seven-year journey, alongside Share Your Sudestada Story, an activation inviting guests to share their memorable experiences at the restaurant.

Since opening in Menteng, Sudestada has become known for its Argentinian cuisine, centered around traditional parrilla cooking, while expanding its role as a destination that combines food, culture, and community. The anniversary will conclude with a commemorative toast bringing together guests, partners, and the restaurant’s team.
