Chatrium Grand Bangkok will host the return of The Oyster World Cup Gastronomy 2026, a two-month culinary programme taking place from June to July. The event brings together chefs, oyster shuckers, and mixologists through a series of competitions, dining events, and food-focused experiences centred on seafood ingredients such as oysters, caviar, and Champagne.
Positioned as an annual programme, the event includes a combination of culinary showcases and competitions, with participants ranging from Michelin-starred chefs to professional oyster shuckers. The programme also incorporates masterclasses, tasting events, and social gatherings built around food and beverage experiences.
June Programme Highlights
The June line-up includes Shuck Off Thailand 2026 (2nd Edition), a national oyster shucking competition that will determine Thailand’s representative for international competitions in China and France. Additional events include live oyster shucking demonstrations, poolside events with guest mixologists, and an 8-Hands Gala Dinner, where four international chefs collaborate on a multi-course menu.
July Programme Highlights
In July, the programme continues with the Thailand Grand Ecailler Challenge (2nd Edition), held in collaboration with a French culinary organisation. The month also features a series of masterclasses, alongside themed dining events such as the Flor de Caña 135th Anniversary Gala Dinner, a five-course menu experience, and a cocktail-focused event involving international mixologists and curated dessert offerings.
