Seasonal Tastes at The Westin Jakarta will welcome the Year of the Fire Horse with a dining celebration that places tradition and flavor at the center. On Lunar New Year’s Eve Dinner and Lunar New Year’s Brunch and Dinner, held on 16 and 17 February 2026, Chinese Specialty Chef Loh Yun Fatt will present a menu shaped by authentic creations. The experience begins with the traditional yu sheng procession that  invites guests to gather around the table, lift their chopsticks high, and share wishes for good fortune in the year ahead.

The atmosphere will be enriched by cultural performances that bring movement and music into the dining room. A lively Lion Dance will set the tone, while the gentle notes of the Guzheng, a classical Chinese string instrument, will add elegance to the evening. To complement the dishes, each guest will be served a special tea mocktail created in collaboration with Dilmah, a brand recognized for its dedication to fine tea.

The celebration extends beyond the table with a collection of hampers designed for sharing during the Lunar New Year. The Prosperity Signature Set gathers festive treats such as pineapple tart, peanut cookies, macaroons, a beeswax candle, gourmet tea, and lapis legit.
