Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach will mark the Lunar New Year with a one-night-only Oriental Feast on Monday, 16 February 2026, presenting a festive buffet dinner paired with a Barongsai performance at Makase. The dinner is positioned as a single-evening celebration centred on traditional flavours, abundance, and communal dining.
Running from 6pm to 10pm, the Oriental Feast brings together a wide-ranging buffet inspired by Chinese and East Asian celebratory dishes. Highlights include the “Roast of the Dragon” station featuring pork char siu, roasted Peking duck, and roasted Cantonese chicken, served with classic condiments. Live cooking elements extend to the Lucky Catch seafood grill, offering freshly grilled red snapper, white snapper, and tuna skewers.
Interactive stations form a key part of the evening, including a Mongolian grill where guests can customise their own stir-fry combinations. Seafood selections continue at the Ice & Abundance station with poached prawns, crab, and Lombok oysters, while the dim sum offering spans hakau, siu mai, prawn dumplings, and bakpao, reflecting familiar Lunar New Year staples.
Desserts close the evening with a dedicated spread of festive sweets, including nian gao, jian dui, Hong Kong–style mango pancakes, and a selection of celebratory cakes and pastries prepared for the occasion.
According to Andreas Bergel, the Lunar New Year dinner is designed to reflect the spirit of Seminyak while staying rooted in tradition, combining a celebratory meal with cultural performances that symbolise prosperity and good fortune.
The Oriental Feast will take place for one night only on 16 February 2026 at Makase, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, offering a time-limited opportunity to mark the Lunar New Year through a single, food-focused evening by the beach.
