KYRO, a new dining and lounge venue in Pacific Place Mall, South Jakarta, introduces a menu that blends Asian inspiration with Western technique. At the center of its culinary program is Chef Rifa Munawar, whose approach focuses on balance and emotion. His dishes reinterpret familiar ingredients with precision, offering a fresh take on regional flavors.
Among the highlights is the 48-hour Short Ribs Kalio, a slow-cooked dish rooted in Padang tradition, known for its depth and tenderness. The Fish on The Grill changes depending on the day’s catch, sourced directly from local fishermen, while the Rahang Tuna Woku is delicately seared and plated with care. Other offerings include Creamy Chilli Oil Pasta, Truffle Butter Pasta, and Dry Aged Duck. For dessert, guests can enjoy the Kyro Tiramisu or the layered Mielle Feuille.
The beverage program at KYRO complements the menu with seasonal cocktails and a curated wine selection. One of its signature drinks is the Mint & Matcha Cocktail, known for its refreshing character and subtle bitterness, balanced without being overly sweet. The wine list changes throughout the year and is housed in a circular chamber that also serves as a visual centerpiece, showcasing the venue’s evolving collection.
“With KYRO, we wanted to create more than just a restaurant; it’s a space where people can feel inspired, connected, and alive,” said Alexa Savitri, Founder of KYRO Jakarta. “Every element, from the design to the music and flavors, is crafted to evoke emotion and celebrate the beauty of shared moments.”
KYRO’s interiors reflect a modern glasshouse concept, combining steel, glass, and warm wood tones. Sculptural details and ambient lighting add softness to the structure, creating a space that feels open yet intimate. A cylindrical wine display stands at the center, offering a quiet focal point and a nod to craftsmanship.
As the day shifts into evening, KYRO transitions into a social space where sound, flavor, and movement come together. Music plays a central role in shaping the atmosphere, with curated performances and evolving rhythms that invite guests to linger and connect.
KYRO spans 759 square meters and can host up to 158 guests. It includes a main dining area, a lounge, and a glasshouse section, along with three private rooms. Each private space is equipped with a television and restroom, suitable for business meetings, private dinners, or personal celebrations. Custom menus and curated experiences are available for those seeking tailored events.
