After a long day, sometimes all it takes is a small moment to feel better—like the cool side of a pillow, warm sunlight on your face, or the first sip of a cold beer. That simple pleasure is the idea behind Ahhhfterwork, a new experience from Heineken that recently arrived in Jakarta.
For over 150 years, Heineken has been known for its signature beer recipe enjoyed around the world. Now, the brand invites people in Jakarta to pause from their busy routines and enjoy a refreshing break. As part of this campaign, Heineken teamed up with Indonesian artist Harishazka Fauzan to create a special art installation at Museum MACAN.
The installation was designed to engage all the senses. Visitors were invited not only to look and listen, but also to touch and feel the textures of Heineken’s natural ingredients. These include A-Yeast, which gives the beer its fresh and slightly fruity taste, Pure Malt for depth of flavor, Water sourced sustainably, and Hops that add a crisp and gentle bitterness.
“Collaborating with Heineken was a great opportunity to explore art in a multisensory way,” said Harishazka Fauzan. “I wanted people not just to see the work, but to feel the textures, colors, and energy of each element—so the experience becomes truly alive and interactive.”
The installation was part of a larger effort to turn everyday routines into meaningful moments. Museum MACAN, known for its role in Jakarta’s art and culture scene, welcomed the collaboration as a way to offer something new to visitors. The space became a place not just to view art, but to unwind and reconnect after work. By combining visual art, sound, and touch, Heineken’s Ahhhfterwork experience encouraged people to slow down and enjoy the present—one sip, one moment at a time.
