ZERU Sky Terrace at Padma Hotel Semarang will present the second edition of its The Art of Mixology series on 27 June 2026, welcoming Jakarta-based mixologist Kiki Moka for a one-night guest shift focused on contemporary cocktail culture and flavour exploration.
Held from 9 PM onwards, the event will see Kiki Moka bring a selection of cocktails created exclusively for Semarang, highlighting both Hendrick’s Original Gin and Hendrick’s Another Gin through a menu that combines classic cocktail techniques with unconventional flavour pairings.
Kiki Moka is known for his work at The Cocktail Club Jakarta, where he has built a reputation for developing drinks that balance technical precision with playful references to familiar flavours and local ingredients. His approach often combines contemporary mixology techniques with elements drawn from everyday culinary experiences.
For the event at ZERU Sky Terrace, guests can expect a cocktail programme featuring creations such as Tomatini, alongside drinks inspired by flavours associated with pisang cokelat (piscok) and onde-onde, reinterpreted through a modern cocktail lens.

The guest shift forms part of ZERU Sky Terrace’s ongoing efforts to introduce visiting bartenders and new beverage experiences to Semarang’s growing cocktail scene. Over the past few years, guest bartender collaborations have become an increasingly common way for bars and hotels to connect local audiences with trends and talent from larger cocktail markets such as Jakarta, Singapore, and Bangkok.
Located on the rooftop of Padma Hotel Semarang, ZERU Sky Terrace has positioned itself as one of the city’s destination venues for cocktails and nightlife, combining skyline views with a beverage programme that regularly features collaborations and special events.
According to Muktiasari Kusumawardani, F&B Marketing Manager of Padma Hotel Semarang, the series is intended to introduce guests to new ideas and perspectives within the beverage industry while strengthening Semarang’s cocktail culture.
The Art of Mixology Vol. 2 featuring Kiki Moka will take place at ZERU Sky Terrace on Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 9 PM onwards.
