The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali has been recognised at the 13th Salon Culinaire Bali competition, with its culinary team earning multiple medals across professional chef, young chef, pastry, and bakery categories. The achievement reflects the resort’s continued focus on culinary training, mentorship, and hospitality development within Bali’s food industry.

Led by Executive Sous Chef M. Yusuf Milyardi and Pastry Chef I Putu Hendy Adiasa, the team competed across a range of categories highlighting both Indonesian and Western cuisine, alongside pastry and bakery disciplines.

Among the top achievements was Ni Kadek Dwi Anggreni, who received a Gold Medal in the Young Chef – Western Fish Main Course category. Meanwhile, I Putu Adi Saputra secured two Gold Medals in the Professional Chef – Indonesian Seafood by Lee Kum Kee and Professional Chef – Indonesian Probiotic Chicken Main Course categories.

The pastry and bakery division also contributed to the medal tally, with I Ketut Wibawa winning a Gold Medal for Afternoon Tea Set “Archipelago”, while Kadek Satrya Wirang Jaya received a Silver Medal for Praline or Petits Fours Indonesian Herbs.

Additional awards included medals for Western pasta, chicken, beef, fish, and breakfast basket categories, as well as a Silver Medal for the team’s performance in the Dewata Gastronomic Challenge.

Supporting the team throughout the competition was Chef M. Feri Afrian of Arwana Restaurant, whose involvement contributed to the collaborative preparation and execution during the event.
