Salt bread takes the spotlight in a new collaboration between The Coach Coffee Shop and Fleur by Raja, a Jakarta bakery known for its inventive approach to baking. Together they have introduced Fleur de New York, a short‑term program that draws inspiration from the everyday café culture of New York City.
The menu centers on two creations that reinterpret familiar flavors from the city. Fleur by Raja has crafted a smoked salmon and cream cheese salt bread, a nod to New York’s bagel tradition, and a Philly cheesesteak salt bread that brings a savory, hearty touch. These breads are paired with coffee from The Coach Coffee Shop, including the fruit‑accented Berry C and the smooth NY Latte. The pairings are designed to feel easy and enjoyable, offering a taste of New York through simple combinations.
Beyond the food, Fleur de New York is about atmosphere. It reflects the small rituals of café life—taking a break, sharing conversation, or enjoying a moment of creativity—translated into Jakarta’s setting. The collaboration emphasizes how everyday choices like bread and coffee can carry a sense of place, bringing together flavor and culture in a way that feels natural.
Fleur de New York will be available from 28 April to 12 May 2026, with the exception of Mondays. It is a meeting of two local names, each with its own style, coming together to share a slice of New York in Jakarta.
