One of the burger joint from Jakarta, Supper Sandwich & Burger is announcing to have a pop-up at Mikkeller Shibuya and Mikkeller Kanda. On this occasion, Supper also released its newest program, namely, Supper Way, a pop up program held outside the city of Jakarta.
Their fascination with Japanese and NY culture grew as you watched TV shows and read magazines. In the food scene, Japan has a reputation for being one of the best. Lots of Indonesian tourists go there mainly for the food. Similar to that, in Indonesia, Japanese restaurants are everywhere and really match the local taste buds.
They looked up to many burger places in Japan and their became our inspiration. The quality of the meat and ingredients, plus how quickly the food is served there, explain why busy Japanese folks are so into burgers. Burgers are also a comfy choice after a long day, whether you’re coming back from a bar or hanging out with friends at an izakaya late at night.
It feel like there’s a natural connection in the way friends are valued in both Indonesia and Japan. Their plan is to strengthen this bond, where teaming up could be the first step towards cooking up exciting new ideas together.
Supper Sandwich & Burger will bring special menu from burger to sides. There will be, Indonesian Style Curry “Padang” Burger, a collaboration of Supper & Mikkeller Kanda with ingredients of Supper Special Bun, 100 gr of Patty, “Sate Padang” Curry Dip, Crispy Fried Shallots, Cheese, and “Padang” Pink Rice Crackers.
Also, Umami Supper Burger, a collaboration menu of Supper & Crafted W/T/ME with ingredients of Supper Special Bun, 100 gr of Patty, Pickle Gherkins, W/T/ME Magic Powder, W/T/ME Shroom Shoyu, W/T/ME Hot Sauce, Supper Special Sauce; Hot Honey Cereal Chicken, with ingredients of cereal crusted fried chicken tender, hot honey sauce, sour cream dipping.
For the last menu, Potato Chips Nanban, a collaboration of Supper & Mikkeller Shibuya with ingredients of, house chips from Mikkeller Shibuya and chicken nanban from Supper. Supper Way Tokyo will be held on 11th November 2023 at Mikkeller Kanda and 12th November 2023 at Mikkeller Shibuya. If you are in Tokyo, Japan at the moment, don’t forget to come by!
