Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort is celebrating Indonesia’s Independence Day with Kuliner Nusantara, a one-night dining experience at Kwee Zeen Restaurant that showcases the country’s diverse culinary traditions alongside a limited-edition cocktail collection inspired by Indonesia’s national heritage.

Taking place on 17 August 2026 from 6 PM to 10:30 PM, the event begins with Mewacik, a traditional royal hand-washing ritual, before guests explore an Indonesian buffet featuring dishes from across the archipelago. The evening is further complemented by live Balinese dance performances, bringing together local culture, cuisine, and hospitality in a single celebration.

Created exclusively for the occasion, the resort’s Independence Day cocktail collection offers contemporary interpretations of Indonesia’s cultural identity through local spices, tropical botanicals, and regional flavours. The three signature cocktails—Pusaka, Sangsaka, and Merah-Putih—take inspiration from national symbols while highlighting Indonesian ingredients through modern mixology.

The Kuliner Nusantara dinner is priced at IDR 688,000++ per adult and IDR 344,000++ for children aged six to 12 years. Guests who confirm their reservations by 10 August 2026 can also enjoy a 20% early bird discount.

Through Kuliner Nusantara, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort celebrates Indonesia’s Independence Day by combining traditional flavours, cultural performances, and locally inspired cocktails in a one-night dining experience that pays tribute to the country’s rich culinary and cultural heritage.
