Ayana Midplaza Jakarta has brought back Liu Li Palace Seafood Restaurant to their lineup of dining spots. Run by a chef from Hong Kong, they offer a menu filled with classic Chinese dishes. You can treat yourself to fresh seafood, tasty dim sum, popular barbecue options, and special items like abalone and shark fin. Every Sunday and public holidays, you can enjoy Yum Cha, which includes a tasty menu of signature dim sum and desserts. In November and December, they are serving up the “Taste of Hong Kong,” featuring a bunch of curated dishes inspired by Hong Kong cuisine.
Liu Li Palace also has specially curated drinks lined up, featuring their unique cocktails like the harmonious Feng Shui, the bold Shifu Negroni, and the refreshing Liu Li Cha. If you are not into alcohol, they have some mocktails inspired by Chinese cinema legends like Chow Yun Fat, Andy Lau, and Jay Chou.
The name “Liu Li” (琉璃 or 瑠璃) carries a lot of history, as it’s tied to an ancient Chinese glassmaking tradition that’s been going strong for over 2,500 years. Liu Li Palace draws inspiration from this classic art form, paying close attention to quality and creativity in every dish. The restaurant’s vibe and design also nod to this rich cultural heritage, especially with their glazed porcelain tiles.
