Oktoberfest Jakarta returns to Paulaner Bräuhaus from September 29 to October 3, bringing five evenings of Bavarian food, beer, live music, and traditional festivities to the city. The celebration will begin from 6 PM each evening, with an all-inclusive format covering food, drinks, entertainment, and a keepsake.
The annual festival traces its origins to Munich, where Oktoberfest began in 1810 as a celebration for the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. It has since developed into an international festival associated with Bavarian cuisine, beer, music, and communal celebrations.
Bavarian Food and Paulaner Oktoberfestbier
At Paulaner Bräuhaus, this year’s Oktoberfest will feature a selection of hearty Bavarian dishes served alongside free-flow freshly brewed Paulaner Oktoberfestbier. Each ticket includes the Bavarian feast and beer throughout the evening, giving the food and drinks a central role in the celebration.
The event will also include games and live entertainment, continuing the traditional festive atmosphere associated with Oktoberfest.
Providing the soundtrack for the five-day celebration is Edelweiss-Power, an Austrian band performing traditional folk tunes alongside upbeat party music. The group will perform throughout the event, with its repertoire drawing from the folk and party traditions of Southeast Germany.
The combination of Bavarian food, freshly brewed beer, live music, and games is designed to bring the Oktoberfest experience to Paulaner Bräuhaus in Jakarta.
