From 25 July to 11 August 2024, The Langham, Jakarta is proud to present a special Dim Sum experience at T’ang Court Restaurant, featuring renowned Dim Sum master Chef Tes Chun Fuk from a Michelin-starred restaurant in Hong Kong. Under the expert hands of Chef Chun and T’ang Court’s Executive Chinese Chef Chong Kooi Sam, guests can indulge in a delectable selection of dim sum creations, each crafted using the finest ingredients available.
Dim sum is a form of handicraft that requires patience, precision and an understanding of balance and harmony. With over 25 years of experience in the art of dim sum, Chef Chun brings his expertise from various culinary ventures in Hong Kong and his current role as the Dim Sum Head Chef at the Michelin-starred Ming Court in Wanchai, Hong Kong. During his time in Jakarta, Chef Chun will work together with the talented chefs at T’ang Court Jakarta to present the craftsmanship and complexity of dim sum while using the freshest and most premium ingredients available.
The artisanal dim sum set menu offers a unique dining experience in Jakarta. For lunch, the menu features an excellent Amuse Bouche and Crispy Prawn Dumpling as appetisers, followed by a series of entree including the remarkable Wagyu Spring Rolls with Shaved Foie Gras and authentic Braised Bird’s Nest Dumpling in Superior Broth. The culinary journey continues with the indulgent Braised Superior Seafood Roll with Abalone Sauce and the flavorful Stuffed Assorted Mushrooms in Bamboo Pith. Each dish highlights Chef Chun’s remarkable skill and unwavering dedication to his craft.
For dinner, Chef Chun has prepared additional menus, including the luxurious Fresh Lobster tossed with Assorted Condiments and the T’ang Court Crispy Roast Duck with Sesame Bun, alongside other delectable dishes. To conclude both the lunch and dinner set menus, Baked Sago Pudding with Chestnut will be served as dessert, accompanied by refreshing Chinese Tea and Petit Fours.The 6-course lunch set menu is priced at IDR 1,288,000++ per person, and the 8-course dinner set menu is priced at IDR 1,888,000++ per person.
