Lion X Restaurant in Bali is marking this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival with Mooncake Galore, a collection of baked and snowskin mooncakes available from September 8 to October 8, 2026.

The collection features four snowskin varieties, including Naiwong Custard Egg with Mung Bean, combining Hong Kong-style custard with mung bean paste; Yam Taro Peanut Lotus, pairing taro, roasted peanuts, and lotus paste; and Wintermelon with Homemade Pineapple Paste, which brings together mildly sweet wintermelon and tangy pineapple filling. The fourth option, Purple Potato Lotus Paste with Ferrero Rocher Chocolate, combines purple sweet potato and lotus paste with Ferrero Rocher chocolate.

The Classic Baked Collection takes a more traditional approach with six low-sugar flavors: White Lotus Paste, Red Bean Paste, Green Tea Lotus Paste, Black Sesame Lotus Paste, Pandan Almond Lotus Paste, and Red Lotus Paste.

The baked mooncakes can be ordered with or without a single golden egg yolk, giving guests a choice between a simpler filling and the traditional egg-yolk version.

Chef Alex Kuan said the collection was developed by taking familiar flavors in new directions while retaining their connection to the Mid-Autumn Festival.

“Tradition should evolve,” said Kuan. “With Mooncake Galore, we’ve taken familiar flavors and pushed them further, layering new textures, premium ingredients, and a modern point of view, while still respecting the essence and symbolism of Mid-Autumn Festival.”

Mooncake Galore is available from September 8 to October 8, with prices starting at IDR 260,000 net. The collection comes in dedicated gift packaging for festive gifting and sharing.
