Kempi Deli has partnered with tea artisan CHUCHAT for a limited-time Lunar New Year collaboration, introducing a series of sandwich-and-tea pairings at its central Jakarta location. Running from 16 January to 17 February 2026, the programme brings CHUCHAT’s tea-focused approach into a more accessible, city-based setting for the festive season.
The collaboration combines Kempi Deli’s European-inspired deli offerings with CHUCHAT’s contemporary tea programme, reflecting an intersection of Western comfort food and Asian tea culture. At its core is a curated menu of four sandwiches created to pair with CHUCHAT’s tea selections, each packaged as a ready-to-enjoy set.
The sandwich line-up includes options such as Mushroom and Egg Truffle Mayo on white toast, Smoked Salmon Bagel served with raita yoghurt, Smoked Chicken Caesar on brioche, and a Tuna Mayo sandwich with romaine and red cabbage. These are paired with CHUCHAT’s Sea Salt Iced Tea—made from Alishan Oolong and milk infused with sea salt—or a freshly brewed Alishan Oolong tea.
A limited-edition drink anchors the Lunar New Year offering. The Kempi Jelly Tea, created specifically for the collaboration, blends Dream Peach Oolong with crystal pearl toppings and is produced in a limited run of 2,500 cups. The beverage is offered as part of the Lunar Exclusive set and is positioned as a seasonal highlight within the programme.
Two bundle options are available throughout the collaboration period: the Classic Set, pairing one sandwich with either Sea Salt Iced Tea or Alishan Oolong, and the Lunar Exclusive set, which includes the same sandwich selection paired with the Kempi Jelly Tea. Additional benefits are extended to G Card members, who are eligible to purchase an extra serving of the limited-edition tea at a preferential rate with each bundle.
Offered daily between 11am and 7pm, the Kempi Deli and CHUCHAT collaboration reflects a broader approach to festive dining that prioritises accessibility and quality, framing Lunar New Year celebrations through thoughtfully paired food and tea rather than formal sit-down meals.
