Hilton Bali Resort is collaborating with Bumbung Bali, a renowned Balinese crafted spirits producer, to create awareness of Arak across the island and establish it as a treasured Balinese heritage product. The Arak Journey program takes you on a wonderful sensory journey, offering a carefully picked collection of five Arak Bali varieties, including Ental, Arak with a delicate, exquisite flavor with a lovely flowery and roasted scent and Jaka, with sweet and delightful flavor complimented by a floral and fruity smell. The other ones include Kelapa, which has a delicate and dry flavor and a fruity coconut scents, Artisan that holds fruity and chocolate flavors, complemented with an alluring scent of coconut, caramel, and vanilla, and finally, Salak, that has sweet and exquisite taste, enhanced by fruit and toast scents.
Guests can also learn the art of mixology by participating in cocktail-making lessons, including Arak Bali choices, and get to enjoy one glass of the perfectly made cocktail as part of the experience. It allows them to appreciate the essence of the Balinese spirit – arak Bali – while learning about its origins and production.
The Arak Journey experience will be held every Saturday from 4 PM to 6 PM at The Shore at Hilton Bali Resort for IDR 250,000 net per person. The exceptional location features an open kitchen concept, giving customers an authentic Balinese dining experience. They can also enjoy the beautiful views of the Indian Ocean while sipping arak-based cocktails.
