Hennessy has unveiled the Top 10 finalists of Hennessy MyWay 2026, marking the next stage of its global bartending competition that highlights creativity, craftsmanship, and purpose-driven hospitality. The selected bartenders will now compete in the semi-final round for a place in the national final and the opportunity to represent Indonesia at the Hennessy MyWay Global Final in France.

Following a nationwide call for entries, bartenders from across Indonesia were invited to submit an original Hennessy cocktail concept accompanied by a video demonstrating their service ritual. Entries were evaluated based on creativity, sustainability, drinkability, product knowledge, storytelling, and overall execution.

The Top 10 finalists are:

  • Boy Septiandi — Barbara Bar, Bali
  • Citra — The Pub Social, Jakarta
  • Dek Arya — Padma Resort Legian, Bali
  • I Kadek Wahyu Sastrawan — Jumeirah Bali
  • Lingga Kurniawan — Zeru Sky Terrace, Semarang
  • Ni Ketut Fridayanti — La Brisa, Bali
  • Octabeno Nuriana — Roots Resto & Lounge, Bandung
  • Putra Galantza — Artesian Bar, Jakarta
  • Rheina Lydian — Spiegel All Day Bar & Dining, Semarang
  • Teguh Bagapol — HOB, Balikpapan

Representing bars and hotels across Jakarta, Bali, Semarang, Bandung, and Balikpapan, the finalists reflect the growing depth of Indonesia’s bartending scene. Their submissions combined technical skill with original storytelling and service rituals, while demonstrating the competition’s emphasis on sustainability and guest experience.

The competition has now moved into its physical judging stage. On 2 July, semifinalists from Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, and Balikpapan presented their cocktails and service rituals before the judging panel at the Hennessy Boutique in Senayan City, Jakarta.

The judging continued in Bali on 8 and 9 July, where the panel visited each of the four Bali-based semifinalists at their respective venues. Rather than a centralized competition, the on-site evaluations allowed judges to experience each bartender’s cocktail, presentation, and service ritual within their own working environment.

The judging panel consists of a representative from Maison Hennessy, previous Hennessy MyWay champions, and an industry professional. Standardized judging criteria were used throughout the competition to ensure consistency across every evaluation.

As the competition progresses toward the national final, Hennessy MyWay continues to provide a platform for Indonesian bartenders to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship while opening opportunities to compete on the international stage.
