Rosso, the Italian restaurant at Shangri-La Jakarta, invites guests to rediscover the art of authentic Italian cuisine through a lunch set menu expertly crafted by Chef Giuseppe.

An urban oasis for family staycations and weekend escapades, Shangri-La Jakarta offers luxury and a comfortable atmosphere for leisure in the city. Likewise, for all foodies in town, Rosso, the Italian restaurant at Shangri-La Jakarta, invites guests to rediscover the art of authentic Italian cuisine. Starting from 13 February 2023, Rosso currently provides a delightful dining experience crafted by the skilled hands of Chef Giuseppe Di Silvestro for guests every day at lunchtime. 

In pursuit of Shangri-La Jakarta’s culinary mission, guests will be treated to a sumptuous and tailored lunch set menu, where they can enjoy a variety of starters, including the Insalata Caesar, a Caesar Salad with roasted Chicken or smoked Salmon, Anchovies, and sliced Parmesan. Guests who prefer soup as their starter can choose Zuppa di Funghi instead, an Italian Mushroom Porcini Soup with Truffle Foam. You can also savor a range of delectable starter options, from The Fritto Misto, a medley of deep-fried battered Prawns and Calamari served with Grilled Lemon and Rosso Special Dips, and the traditional Italian Fishcake di Patate e Salmone (Salmon Potato Croquette with Fennel Cream).

For the main course, you may choose from six tantalizing options, including the Classic Rigatoni Carbonara with Italian pork cured meat (available in a halaal version), the Aglio e Olio with seafood, hearty Bolognese (tagliatelle Pasta with Beef Fillet Bolognese Sauce), Petto di Pollo Alla Milanese (deep-fried Breaded Chicken Breast Milanese-style with roasted Potatoes), Salmone Alla Griglia (grilled salmon fillet with mashed potatoes and caper sauce), and Tagliata di Manzothe, a grilled sliced Striploin with rockets, sliced parmesan and balsamic sauce. 

To conclude the dining experience, guests may choose from a range of delightful dessert options, including the classic Rosso Tiramisu, Panna Cotta di Frutti di Bosco (a creamy Italian cooked cream pudding with mixed berry Sauce), or the refreshing Lemon Sorbet with Tuscan Almond Biscuit. Even more, you can indulge in Cannoli Siciliani, a Sicilian-style fried pastry filled with creamy Ricotta Cheese, or a sliced fruits platter. For an introductory price of IDR 250,000++ per person, guests may select one (1) menu from each category, including a starter, main course, and dessert.

Rosso is open every day for the lunch set menu from 11:30 am to 3 pm and the a la carte dinner from 6 to 10:30 pm. Rosso’s brunch Antipasti buffet is available every Sunday from 11:30 am to 3 pm for IDR 450,000++ per person, with an extra package with alcoholic beverages available starting from IDR 300,000++ per person. Under the skilled direction of Chef Giuseppe, diners are treated to a truly exceptional Italian dining experience that not only tantalizes the taste buds but also stimulates the senses. Each dish becomes a tale expertly crafted by Chef Giuseppe’s own hands, transporting guests on a journey of sensory delights.
