Fairmont Jakarta marks Indonesia’s Independence Month with a lineup of dining experiences at Spectrum Restaurant and 1945 Restaurant, combining buffet-style family dining with contemporary interpretations of Indonesian heritage.
At Spectrum Restaurant, the Independence Month celebration takes the form of a special buffet served for lunch and dinner from 15 to 17 August 2026, priced at IDR 568,000++ per person. A Tumpeng cutting ceremony will take place on 17 August to mark Independence Day. Guests dressed in batik or Indonesia’s red-and-white colors will also receive a 17% discount.
For a more focused take on Indonesian cuisine, 1945 Restaurant will serve a special individual Tumpeng on 17 August. The menu features Nasi Kuning, heritage-style Ayam Goreng, Telur Balado, Tempe Orek, Sambal Kentang and Mie Goreng.
Throughout August, 1945 will also offer its Merdeka Rijsttafel-inspired menu for IDR 500,000++ for two people. The sharing menu includes Smoked Beef Perkedel, Tahu Telur Crispy, Chicken Roulade, Semur Beef Cheek, Jantung Pisang Gecok and a refined take on Spekkoek. The experience begins with Sangsaka, a welcome drink combining eternal summer tea, strawberry, passion fruit, vanilla and salted liquid cream.
The August program also includes an Indonesian Heritage Cocktail Collection, available throughout the month at IDR 120,000++ per glass. Inspired by Indonesian sweets and familiar flavors, the collection reinterprets Dodol, Klepon, Wajik and Getuk as contemporary cocktails.
Together, the offerings present Indonesian flavors through different dining formats, from a festive buffet and communal rijsttafel to individual Tumpeng and cocktails inspired by traditional sweets.
